Deep dive into the top-quality body lotion brands in Kenya
Leading the pack are large international brands, with Nivea, Vaseline, and Nice & Lovely securing the top three spots. These brands stand out with exceptionally high Good Quality scores, each reaching close to or above 80%. In contrast, the nearest competitors, such as Imperial Leather and Versman, fall behind with scores around 64% or lower.
These results solidify Nivea’s position as one of the leading brands in the Body Care category in Kenya, excelling not only in brand presence but also in capturing consumer trust.
Surprisingly, despite Dove’s strong presence in Kenya and across the continent, it shows a relatively high percentage of Neutral ratings, indicating that many consumers remain unconvinced of its quality. Meanwhile, the South African brand Clere stands out for the wrong reasons, recording the lowest positive rating (35%) and the highest negative rating among all brands—6% of consumers familiar with it rate the brand as poor quality.
