Job Description
As a Quantitative Market Research Analyst, you will be part of a global and multicultural team covering the African continent, reporting to the Retail Insights Research Director. The position is based in our head office in Barcelona, Spain.
Your tasks
- Analyse and interpret market retail data
- Communicate insights to the client
- Synthesise information in clear reports that can be shared with clients
- Design questionnaires and define sample composition
- Monitor data collection progress to ensure proper execution and data quality
Your profile
- Experience in quantitative market research, either agency or client side
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong command of statistics principles
- Knowledge of sql a plus
- Strong work ethic, self-starter, integrity and honesty

As a Research Manager – Quantitative Insights, you will be part of a global and multicultural team covering the African continent, reporting either to the Quantitative Consumer Insights Research Director or to the Trade Insights Research Director. The position is based in our head office in Barcelona, Spain.
Responsibilities
- Run projects from A to Z, from setting up a research project to delivering an impactful report and presentation to the client, while keeping the client’s objectives in mind in every step of the process.
- Design narrative-driven reports with advanced and actionable marketing advice, to support your clients in their decision-making.
- Lead the design of innovative, winning proposals & pitches in response to briefs.
- Develop deep relationships with clients to understand their strategic goals and needs, which you translate into concrete research objectives.
- Work with and oversee the development of junior research team members by providing guidance, support and coaching
Profile
- 5-10 years of experience in consumer insights and research
- Previous experience within consumer insights function or agency essential
- Technical expertise in various consumer research methodologies, data collection, operations
- Sector expertise in FMCG
- Good knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, etc.)
- Strong people management and motivational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management experience
- Ability to problem solve and provide advanced data analysis in an ambiguous environment
- Capacity to work both independently and under close supervision
- Fluency in English is a must. French would be a plus.
