Featured project: Local advertising monitoring for consumer goods brands

Sagaci Research recently completed a short project for a leading consumer goods brand, monitoring key messages in competitors’ advertising campaigns, as part of their strategy to roll out a multi-channel campaign across four different countries in Africa.
In less than one week between the initial client brief and the report delivery, our local teams captured comprehensive data and information on country-specific regulation and competitors’ strategies. Sagaci’s team conducted extensive media assessments on a variety of channels including billboards, TV, social media, online press and printed press across four countries. The analysis and findings of this tailored study were then delivered to the client in a bespoke report.
It was interesting to see how brands adopt creative ways to express their messages and match unique local trends, whilst delivering comparable campaigns across different markets. The research also provided key insights into how marketers tailor their campaigns to prioritize the preferred advertising channels for individual countries.

This project illustrates Sagaci Research’s capabilities in capturing local data and information in a short period of time and in delivering prompt results for high-stake projects across multiple countries.
