This publication provides clear visibility on the most attractive African cities for hotel investment, beyond existing hotel projects. It presents a detailed picture of the need for new hotels by 2018 in each of the 28 key cities across Africa and supplies key insights into the current demand/offer by key city as well as growth forecasts till 2018. For each city, business traffic has been analyzed and forecasted till 2018. In parallel, potential hotel projects have been identified and analyzed in order to estimate the 2018 hotel supply by key city.
This publication also provides some much needed background on the historical evolution of business traffic flows by city as well as on the hotel supply. Beyond the historical evolution, the detailed forecast analysis provides a clear visibility on the developments expected between 2013 and 2018.
