Ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne, combin\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;adoption croissante de r\u00e9gimes alimentaires occidentaux (en particulier chez les jeunes), alimente la demande de repas faciles et rapides. N\u00e9anmoins l&rsquo;\u00e9lan r\u00e9cent vient surtout des acteurs locaux qui \u00e9tendent leur pr\u00e9sence gr\u00e2ce au lancement de nouveaux produits et \u00e0 des partenariats strat\u00e9giques. Parmi les investissements notables, on retrouve la plus grande usine de p\u00e2tes du Ghana, d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e par Westco Investment Ltd en partenariat avec la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 turque <a href=\"https:\/\/www.obamakarna.com.tr\/index.php?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">OBA Markana<\/a>. La plus grande usine de p\u00e2tes d&rsquo;Afrique de l&rsquo;Ouest est \u00e9galement en cours de construction cette ann\u00e9e au Burkina Faso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les go\u00fbts locaux fa\u00e7onnent \u00e9galement l&rsquo;innovation en mati\u00e8re de produits. Par exemple, <a href=\"https:\/\/crownflourmillng.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Crown Flour Mill Ltd<\/a> au Nigeria (qui fait partie d&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.olamagri.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Olam Agri<\/a>) a r\u00e9cemment lanc\u00e9 Crown Thick Spaghetti. Celles-ci sont con\u00e7ues pour r\u00e9pondre aux pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences locales en mati\u00e8re de p\u00e2tes plus \u00e9paisses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parmi les autres acteurs locaux importants, on retrouve \u00e9galement <a href=\"https:\/\/www.merecindustries.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Merec Industries<\/a> au Mozambique, <a href=\"https:\/\/africafoodmanufacture.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Africa Food Manufacture<\/a> au Cameroun et <a href=\"https:\/\/buagroup.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">BUA<\/a> au Nigeria. En termes de marques, les plus grands noms du continent comprennent Golden Penny Pasta<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fmnfoods.com\/our-brands\/pasta\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">(Flour Mills of Nigeria<\/a>), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fattisandmonis.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fatti&rsquo;s et Moni&rsquo; s<\/a> en Afrique du Sud <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tigerbrands.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">(Tiger Brands<\/a>). Le co\u00fbt du bl\u00e9 et l&rsquo;inflation en Afrique ont connu un pic au d\u00e9but de 2022 en raison des perturbations de la cha\u00eene d&rsquo;approvisionnement mondiale et de la guerre en Ukraine, avant de s&rsquo;att\u00e9nuer en 2023-24. Cela a incit\u00e9 de nombreux consommateurs \u00e0 d\u00e9laisser les marques de p\u00e2tes import\u00e9es ou haut de gamme au profit d&rsquo;options locales plus abordables.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:37px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Quel_est_le_pays_qui_consomme_le_plus_de_pates_en_Afrique\"><\/span><strong>Quel est le pays qui consomme le plus de p\u00e2tes en Afrique ?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon les donn\u00e9es de SagaCube, 69% des Africains interrog\u00e9s ont consomm\u00e9 des p\u00e2tes r\u00e9cemment, ce qui confirme leur grande popularit\u00e9 sur le continent. Ce chiffre exclut les nouilles instantan\u00e9es, qui repr\u00e9sentent une cat\u00e9gorie importante et distincte dans certains pays. Nous vous pr\u00e9senterons des informations sur la consommation de nouilles instantan\u00e9es dans un prochain article.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 leur grande popularit\u00e9 en Afrique, la consommation de p\u00e2tes diff\u00e8re sensiblement d&rsquo;un pays \u00e0 l&rsquo;autre. Des march\u00e9s comme l&rsquo;\u00c9gypte, l&rsquo;Angola, le Togo et le B\u00e9nin affichent les taux de consommation de p\u00e2tes les plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s, avec plus de 60 % de la population adulte ayant mang\u00e9 des p\u00e2tes r\u00e9cemment. En revanche, certains pays affichent des taux de consommation beaucoup plus faibles, inf\u00e9rieurs \u00e0 20 % dans des pays comme la Guin\u00e9e et l&rsquo;Ouganda. C&rsquo;est en effet un aliment de base pour les repas principaux. Une proportion plus faible de personnes interrog\u00e9es a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 manger des p\u00e2tes au petit-d\u00e9jeuner (16%), au go\u00fbter (12%) ou en milieu de matin\u00e9e (11%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>86% des Africains interrog\u00e9s mangent des p\u00e2tes \u00e0 la maison, ce qui en fait le principal lieu de consommation. En effet, 60% des personnes interrog\u00e9es les pr\u00e9f\u00e9rent \u00e0 d&rsquo;autres vari\u00e9t\u00e9s. Viennent ensuite les macaronis avec 17%, tandis que les pennes, les lasagnes et les autres types de p\u00e2tes restent des options plus niche. Lorsqu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agit de prendre des d\u00e9cisions d&rsquo;achat, la qualit\u00e9 est la premi\u00e8re priorit\u00e9 des consommateurs africains de p\u00e2tes, cit\u00e9e par 30% des personnes interrog\u00e9es. Viennent ensuite le go\u00fbt (18%) et le prix (15%). Bien que des facteurs tels que la disponibilit\u00e9, l&rsquo;origine locale et la marque influencent les choix, ils sont moins importants dans l&rsquo;ensemble.
