Auchan a lanc\u00e9 ses activit\u00e9s sur le march\u00e9 s\u00e9n\u00e9galais en 2014, et s&rsquo;est plus r\u00e9cemment \u00e9tendu \u00e0 la C\u00f4te d&rsquo;Ivoire (2022). Le g\u00e9ant de la distribution d\u00e9tenu par la famille Mulliez (qui poss\u00e8de \u00e9galement le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.decathlon.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">groupe Decathlon<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/kiabi-africa.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kiabi<\/a> et <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leroymerlin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Leroy Merlin<\/a> \/ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adeo.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Adeo Group<\/a>) poss\u00e8de actuellement plus de cinquante magasins sur le continent et <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foodbusinessafrica.com\/french-retail-group-auchan-expands-into-algeria\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">pr\u00e9voit d&rsquo;entrer sur le march\u00e9 alg\u00e9rien dans les prochains mois<\/a> en partenariat avec le groupe de distribution alg\u00e9rien Great Way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En s&rsquo;appuyant sur <a href=\"https:\/\/sagaciresearch.com\/products\/sagabrand\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SagaBrand<\/a>, l&rsquo;outil de suivi de la sant\u00e9 des marques en Afrique, nous faisons un zoom sur la position de la marque Auchan sur les march\u00e9s de d\u00e9tail s\u00e9n\u00e9galais et ivoirien et suivons l&rsquo;\u00e9volution de la croissance d&rsquo;Auchan en Afrique.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"La_croissance_dAuchan_en_Afrique_a_commence_au_Senegal\"><\/span><strong>La croissance d&rsquo;Auchan en Afrique a commenc\u00e9 au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal\u00a0<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Auchan occupe une position dominante sur le march\u00e9 local du commerce de d\u00e9tail s\u00e9n\u00e9galais avec plus de 37 points de vente r\u00e9partis dans tout le pays. Selon une r\u00e9cente \u00e9tude de SagaBrand, Auchan a le taux de p\u00e9n\u00e9tration le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, principalement en raison du nombre \u00e9lev\u00e9 de magasins par rapport \u00e0 la concurrence. Au total, 80% des consommateurs interrog\u00e9s ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 fait des achats chez <a href=\"https:\/\/www.auchan.sn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Auchan au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal<\/a>, loin devant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/casino-s%C3%A9n%C3%A9gal\/?originalSubdomain=sn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Casino <\/a>(39%) et <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/hypermarcheexclusivelofficiel\/?locale=fr_FR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hypermarch\u00e9 Exclusive<\/a> (30%). Elle est \u00e9galement reconnue comme la marque de supermarch\u00e9 la plus appr\u00e9ci\u00e9e des consommateurs, et de loin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parmi ces clients d&rsquo;Auchan, pr\u00e8s de \u00be d&rsquo;entre eux (73%) ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que l&rsquo;enseigne \u00e9tait leur pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9e. En termes de pr\u00e9f\u00e9rence, Auchan est actuellement hors de port\u00e9e des concurrents. Hypermarch\u00e9 Exclusive ne convainc que 28 % de ses clients, suivi par <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supeco.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Supeco<\/a> (coentreprise entre <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carrefour.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Carrefour<\/a> et <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cfaogroup.com\/en\/homepage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CFAO<\/a>) \u00e0 27 %. Avec les difficult\u00e9s financi\u00e8res de Casino et les r\u00e9cents <a href=\"https:\/\/www.agenceecofin.com\/finance\/0806-109081-dakar-le-directeur-general-de-supeco-se-dit-degoute-apres-le-pillage-du-supermarche-flambant-neuf-par-des-manifestants\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">troubles sociaux qui ont affect\u00e9 certains d\u00e9taillants<\/a>, il y a de fortes chances qu&rsquo;Auchan au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal maintienne d&rsquo;autres acteurs sur la touche pendant un certain temps encore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En moins de 10 ans, Auchan a ouvert un ensemble de points de vente. 20 supermarch\u00e9s, 16 magasins de proximit\u00e9 et un hypermarch\u00e9 r\u00e9partis dans les principales villes de Dakar, Mbour et d&rsquo;autres centres urbains. La marque \u00e0 l&rsquo;oiseau rouge entend poursuivre son expansion dans des villes comme Saint-Louis et Kaolack.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"La_croissance_rapide_dAuchan_en_Cote_dIvoire\"><\/span><strong>La croissance rapide d&rsquo;Auchan en C\u00f4te d&rsquo;Ivoire<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Avec l&rsquo;augmentation des investissements \u00e9trangers, le d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique et la forte empreinte d&rsquo;Auchan au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, le g\u00e9ant de la distribution est entr\u00e9 en C\u00f4te d&rsquo;Ivoire en 2022 pour \u00e9tendre ses activit\u00e9s en Afrique de l&rsquo;Ouest. Cette initiative a permis aux consommateurs ivoiriens de vivre une nouvelle exp\u00e9rience d&rsquo;achat. Auchan met l&rsquo;accent sur la qualit\u00e9, le caract\u00e8re abordable et la commodit\u00e9 a trouv\u00e9 un \u00e9cho aupr\u00e8s des consommateurs locaux, ce qui a entra\u00een\u00e9 une r\u00e9action positive et une augmentation de la fr\u00e9quentation de leurs points de vente.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En juin 2023, Auchan op\u00e8re dans 14 magasins dans des villes cl\u00e9s telles qu&rsquo;Abidjan et Bouak\u00e9, le dernier ayant ouvert ses portes \u00e0 Treichville il y a quelques jours seulement. En d&rsquo;autres termes, plus d&rsquo;un quart des personnes interrog\u00e9es dans le cadre de notre panel mobile en C\u00f4te d&rsquo;Ivoire ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 achet\u00e9 quelque chose chez Auchan, un an seulement apr\u00e8s le lancement des op\u00e9rations. Cela place le distributeur en 9\u00e8me position derri\u00e8re <a href=\"https:\/\/bonprix.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">BonPrix<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/cdci.business.site\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CDCI<\/a> et King Cash, respectivement 1er, 2\u00e8me et 3\u00e8me en termes de p\u00e9n\u00e9tration.
